Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I spent Saturday afternoon at a much needed workshop on applying makeup for the camera held at my acting studio and then rushed home to meet Mr. Pretty Little Shopper for a dinner date. We went to Gjelina in Venice, which is definitely becoming one of my new favorites… be sure to book reservations ahead of time as this place gets packed. Sunday morning we slept in, made brunch and then I spent the rest of the day working around the house. We ventured out for a walk on the beach midday and it was so excruciatingly hot, that I managed to finish most of my Pressed Juicery Greens 3 before I could make it back to my house, which is less than a mile away. Needless to say, it was packed at the beach!
Mo and I shot these photos at The Point on Friday afternoon. Originally, I had been planning to dedicate an entire post to it’s opening, but since only half of the shops and restaurants have opened, I will have to save that for a later date. Meanwhile, Mo and I had a blast shooting these photos in this awesome lifeguard tower designed by Portraits of Hope. Probably not as much fun as the little kids running through the station and down this ramp though… I wish I could bottle their energy and enthusiasm and pour a shot into my green juice!
This outfit is so comfy and perfect for the insane heat wave we are having here in Southern California. I have been living in cutoff shorts, sundresses and sandals. The new pendant I am wearing is from House of Harlow. Sadly, I missed the pop up store at The Grove, but I had my heart set on this pendant and was thrilled when it arrived on my doorstep. I love it when online purchases exceed their expectations!
Alice and Olivia blouse (similar here, here and here). Abercrombie & Fitch shorts. House of Harlow 1960 locket. Nasty Gal crossbody bag (similar here, here and here). DV by Dolce Vita sandals (on sale!) here and here. Taylor and Tessier bangle. Stella & Dot earrings. Gucci sunglasses.
