Happy Monday! I hope you had a lovely weekend! We had a rare cool day here in LA yesterday… by cool I mean 70 degrees, but you have to take what you can get! We even had some dark clouds and a tiny drizzle! I really love gloomy London weather so much… especially after nonstop sun for months on end. While the sun did come out a few times during the afternoon, it was cool enough to actually wear my denim jacket over my tank dress for a change, instead of just throwing it over my shoulders in an air conditioned room. I am bracing myself for this weekend when the weather is forecasted to be 90 degrees in Manhattan Beach (I don’t even want to know how hot it is going to be inland)!
This gorgeous tea rose cami was one of my first “Fall” purchases a few weeks ago. It’s by a new California label that I love called Tularosa. They describe themselves as a modern Boheme collection which is, of course, perfect for a girl living in Southern California (You can see one of my other recent looks from Tularosa here). I managed to spill water all over myself just as we were about to shoot, but luckily it was so dry out that my top dried in less than ten minutes! I really love this color for fall, and I think it will be a great little piece to throw a blazer or sweater over if it ever cools off here.
Mo and I took these photos at the Malibu Country Mart a couple of weeks ago. Such a fun place to shop and dine and very much worth the drive to hang out in such a peaceful setting. Don’t you just love this “Paparazzi Free Zone” sign on the wall? I wonder if it actually works… It kind of reminds me of those cute signs you see on peoples lawns with pictures of puppies crossed out. I wonder if the puppies actually read it. 🙂
