Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful Halloween weekend! I spent Saturday with friends and family, and opening the door for Trick or Treaters dressed as video game characters I have never heard of. I was so happy to see a Harry Potter and a cute little Squirrel in the mix. We have a tradition for the past few years where our dear friends next door come over with their kids after they finish collecting candy and we all have ice cream, cupcakes and wine. It’s such a fun way to start off the holiday season.
Speaking of seasons, it’s still unconventionally hot here in Los Angeles, but today it is actually supposed to rain!!! Hopefully it will start to get a little cooler as Fall fashion is in full swing. This lace-up top and faux suede skirt are both huge trends for Fall. Typically I spend the bulk of my shopping budget on classic pieces, so I was thrilled to discover Yoins, where I could try this trend for an affordable steal! Can you believe that this top and skirt combo was purchased for just under 40 dollars including shipping? It ended up being so cute and I already have plans to restyle both of these pieces, so I hope you won’t mind seeing them again on this blog.
