I’ve been absolutely obsessed with Mrs. Alice for years now, so as soon as we installed our new dining room wallpaper, I knew it was time to upgrade to a proper tablescape!
If you’re not already familiar with the whimsical and elegant world of Mrs. Alice, allow me to introduce you! Founded by designer, business woman and Vogue contributor, Alice Naylor-Leland, the world’s first “tablescape brand” was launched from her elegant home in 2019. Born in Switzerland and raised in London by her business partner and mother Serena, Alice attended Edinburgh University and worked in the fashion world after studying at Instituto Marangoni. She now divides her time between Cambridgshire and North Wales with her husband Tom (AKA Mr. Alice), their 4 beautiful children, 2 dogs and 5 alpacas!
It was so hard to chose from all of Mrs. Alice’s 2024 tablescape sets and a la carte options, but after returning from our London vacation, I decided on a Tartan theme for our holiday décor this year.
I chose this Tartan tablecloth, the “Joy of Christmas” Tablescape set and a pair of sitting Tartan flocked deer from Mrs. Alice.
Our Spode Christmas dishes are a classic set that I inherited from my late Mother in Law. I love them dearly and the memories of the lovely Christmases spent at her house before she passed.
I purchased these Twelve Days of Christmas napkins years ago at Williams Sonoma (similar version here) and I love how easy it was to mix and match them with our new Mrs. Alice pieces!
Mr. Cupcake looks absolutely adorable in his new bow tie and Teddy Bear Charm from The Foggy Dog. The bow tie was a collaboration with Draper James and we got him the matching bed where he can nap in between all of our holiday festivities. As I’ve mentioned before, our little Dood is a Party Animal!!
