Happy Tuesday!
This romper is one of my go to pieces when I don’t have time to fuss over what to wear. After all, how much easier can you get than throwing on a one-piece outfit? I styled this look with high heeled sandals and a blazer to give it a more sophisticated look, but I’ve also worn it with flat sandals and a crossbody for a more casual approach. This blazer is from H&M and I don’t think I would have ever found it if it wasn’t for Mr. Pretty Little Shopper. I somehow talked him into making a stop there with me last fall and I was so glad I did. At the time there must have been at least a dozen black blazers in the store, but this one was at the back of a rack that was so high up that I never would have noticed it, let alone been able to reach it. I guess it really pays to know people in high places . Also, I wore this outfit to my friend Ale’s clothing exchange a few months ago and it ended up being so warm in the afternoon, that I laid the blazer aside next to my bag. At the end of the day when we were packing everything up, I noticed her trying on this piece just in time to let her know that, “no, it wasn’t one of the items left over from the exchange.” That was a close call since I’d probably have to sit through a lot of sci-fi movies to get Mr. Pretty Little Shopper to make another trip to H&M.
