Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I spent mine with Mr. Pretty Little Shopper catching up on some action adventure movies. We saw the pre-release of Insurgent (On Demand TV) and then on Saturday we headed to The Grove to see Mission Impossible 5. I loved both films and I cannot stop thinking about our Saturday night dinner at Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill! The restaurant had some big shoes to fill for me, because it’s previous occupants were Gordon Ramsay’s Fat Cow and then The Revolve Pop Up Store! Not only was Blue Ribbon some of the freshest and most delicious sushi I have had, but they also added a whole section of patio seating along the fountain area of The Grove. Definitely one of my new favorites!
And now about this dress… I had been coveting it for months and finally purchased it through an online shop called Bona Drag. It arrived just before my trip to Italy, so I can’t believe I am just now finally wearing it! At first I thought I would need to have it hemmed, but I ended up stopping by the fabric store and adding a big blue sash around the waist, which gave it a better fit on my petite frame. This dress is from a label called To Be Adored, which ended up being quite appropriate as I received tons of compliments on my shopping and lunch trip with Amina. We walked down Robertson and Beverly to visit Les Pommettes, Tommy Hilfiger, Moschino and the new BNKR Pop Up Store, before making our way to lunch at The Ivy. Be sure to check back later in the week because I can’t wait to share with you our post on one of my absolute favorite restaurants of all time!
