Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. I spent mine doing the usual dinner date, shopping, yoga, making breakfast, doing chores around the house, etc. This weekend of course the thought of 9/11 was heavy in my heart and put into perspective my grumblings about the excessive heat and how hard it is to style Fall clothes. I know… tragic, blogger problems, right? When you are a blogger deciding what to wear can feel like a huge obstacle… but that all changed last night when I was sorting through my emails and came across a petition in my inbox to help protect a group of 17-23 year old Christian students in Sudan who were arrested for “indecent dress” consisting of pants or skirts. My options to express myself through fashion and inspire others is a freedom I realize I have often taken for granted. You can read more about these girls at Amnesty International here.

Hi Eni,
Glad to be friends on IFB! Yes, it is such a horrible situation in Sudan! Thanks for sharing it on your socials… it’s so important to get the word out.

Ok, the photobomb guy is pretty darn funny, but he still doesn’t detract from your amazing shoes!
