Snowflake Sweater

Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed the Merriest of Christmas’s with your loved ones! Mr. Pretty Little Shopper and I headed to Central California for a couple of nights to spend the holiday with family. I always love watching everyone open their presents on Christmas morning. Luckily, I am much better at shopping than I am at wrapping, and everyone seemed to love what we picked out for them. After we opened all of our packages, my Sister-in-law made her traditional Silver Fizzes. I drank (only) two, in spite of the fact that she was really pushing a third one on me! Somewhere in between all the drinks, I managed to get in a styling session with my nieces. It was so fun to see them model their new clothes, and to show them all the ways they can style them with the pieces they already have in their closets. We got back to Los Angeles late on Saturday afternoon, absolutely exhausted and lounged around most of the weekend. A perfect beginning to our stay-cation which we are excited to enjoy this week!

Mo and I shot these photos last Monday and managed to find the only tree in LA that turned to a Fall palette. Seriously, it was the only one of it’s kind on a charming little street we stumbled upon in Brentwood. I am wearing a cute and cozy snowflake sweater, which I layered over my new J. Crew plaid shirt (previously worn in my last post here). I ended up throwing on a pair of sparkly Jimmy Choo sandals that were laying on my dressing room floor, because I loved how they matched the sweater. While I might actually wear these shoes to dinner, I ended up swapping them for black booties and socks after we were done shooting. After I dropped Mo off, it started to drizzle a bit, so I layered on a red hooded coat to finish my holiday shopping at Third Street Promenade. Such a whimsical holiday outfit… I think I will wear this one for a few more weeks until it’s time to take down the Christmas lights.
