Tea Time in Tartan

Happy Friday! Mo and I took these photos last week and I talked him into stopping by Matthew Kenney’s new restaurant Plant Food and Wine on Abbot Kinney. I was so sad when his restaurant M.A.K.E. in Santa Monica closed and this was my first time checking out the new place, which at this point, really isn’t so new. We only had time for a quick coffee/tea and snack so I ordered the Cauliflower Bisque with Porcini and Hazelnuts. It was so delicious and I can’t wait to visit again for a full meal and wine! We fell in love with the beautiful patio setting which reminds me of my favorite place in Scotland, The Boath House. Luckily I had on my new tartan skirt. 🙂
