Happy Thursday! With Thanksgiving only a week away, I wanted to share some decorating ideas to get your home cozy for company. These easy Thanksgiving décor ideas are a combination of older pieces I’ve had for years, a few newer things I recently picked up, fresh flowers, pumpkins and nearly every candle I found around the house.
These darling little pilgrims are family heirlooms which I inherited from my mother in law. Mister Pretty Little Shopper and I took over Thanksgiving hosting duties after she passed away. I think she would be so happy to see these adorable pilgrims on our mantel and I always think of her when I put them out each year. She purchased them at a craft fair and they are made from empty wine bottles as the base. I’m always so sad she never got to read this blog as I’m sure she would have really enjoyed it. She probably would have also offered lots of advice and ideas to post about and shared it with everyone in Fresno too. 🙂
This beautiful center piece is from Growing Wild in Manhattan Beach. They make the most unique pieces for every occasion and I have picked up quite a few over the years. Growing Wild creates décor with both fresh and dried materials and they deliver throughout Los Angeles and the South Bay. The turkey on the mantel is also one of their creations.
I put together my very own floral display inspired by the Rocco Forte hotel lobbies. Do you recognize those apothecary jars from our movie night candy buffet?

These little Turkey Salt & Pepper Shakers are a new purchase from Williams Sonoma. The table runner is also from Williams Sonoma, but we purchased it years ago. I love this new Botanical Pumpkin Runner they have in store this year.
I pretty much just winged it, but I love how this candle display turned out.
Do you have any easy Thanksgiving décor ideas? Please share… I might keep decorating until dinner time next week. Also, be sure to check back again this week as I’m sharing a couple of my favorite gluten-free pumpkin recipes you won’t want to miss.
