Last week, Amina and I went to Afternoon Tea, with my gorgeous and fashionable friend Kali from In Spades Blog.
We chose The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills because they serve tea seven days a week. We were also delighted by the delicious menu and cozy, intimate setting!
The awesome chefs at The Peninsula made a special gluten-free tray for me. I polished off the currant scone that used to be at the top of this tray (with plenty of clotted cream), before Amina took this picture. 🙂
Smoked Salmon and Egg sandwiches. Nom nom.
We each had a glass of champagne to celebrate the end of the year.
And the prettiest tea cozy, kept our Chai warm.
The last time I had High Tea, it was with Mr. Pretty Little Shopper in London. He was only in it for the sandwiches and the cakes. I must say it was quite a bit more fun to linger with the girls.
Clearly you can see that I take tea time very seriously.
Pumpkin Pie was a seasonal addition to the menu.
After tea we went outside to take outfit photos (and walk off all of the yummy sandwiches and cakes).
Kali was wearing a dress from Vocabulary Boutique. Jimmy Choo shoes. Kenneth Jay Lane Bag. Banana Republic Bracelet and Earrings.
I was wearing an Alice & Olivia top. Nasty Gal skirt. Anthropologie sweater. Lady Dior bag. Zara pumps. Kate Spade earrings.
We had such a fun time and can’t wait to visit again soon!
