Tartan Christmas Décor Home Tour: Cozy Holiday Living Room Inspiration

Happy Wednesday! I’m so excited to finally share my Tartan Christmas Décor Living Room! Last year was a whirlwind of styling clients, personal shopping appointments, and creating holiday content, so while my Tartan Christmas Dining Room made it to the blog, this charming living room reveal is fashionably late!

My many trips to Scotland and London have turned me into a full-on tartan enthusiast, so bringing this cozy, heritage-inspired look into our home was truly a joy. From classic red plaid to deeper jewel-toned tartans, this space was one of my favorite holiday decorating projects.

Ralph Lauren Tartan Décor

Festive living room scene with Lisa Valerie Morgan in a plaid Ralph Lauren dress sitting on a tartan-accented sofa, posing with her smiling goldendoodle wearing a tartan bowtie.

I instantly fell in love with these Ralph Lauren tartan pillows and throw blankets. Their timeless patterns and luxe textures bring such warmth to the room, and I knew they’d be the perfect foundation for a Scottish-inspired Christmas theme.

Of course, I couldn’t resist adding the Ralph Lauren 2024 Teddy Bear Ornament Set to the tree! These little bears are adorable — and if you’ve been following along, you know I recently picked up a Ralph Lauren Teddy Bear Sweater to match. I’m fully committed to the theme!

Charlie Cupcake’s Tartan Accessories

Charlie Cupcake also joined the tartan fun with the cutest pillow bed from The Foggy Dog, complete with a matching bowtie and a whimsical interactive Gingerbread House toy.

While I was shopping in the Neiman Marcus kids department, I stumbled upon an adorable stuffed goldendoodle that looks exactly like Mr. Cupcake — so naturally, he came home with us.

Special Ornaments With Meaning

My tree is always a mix of new finds and sentimental treasures:

Holiday Style to Match the Décor

Because I never miss a theme moment, I wore my Polo Ralph Lauren tartan dress for the shoot — the perfect match for my décor and a festive favorite in my wardrobe.

And naturally… a holiday photo shoot with Charlie Cupcake wouldn’t be complete without paying the cheese tax. 😉
