Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend and that your Monday is off to a great start! We had a relaxing weekend which included more house hunting, a sushi date at The Grove and a romantic walk along the beach. We also finally saw Beauty and the Beast which was even better than I imagined it would be. Such a gorgeous film and I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it yet!
You might recognize this top from a few weeks ago here. I decided to restyle it with a black skirt and heels for a completely different look. One of my favorite things about blogging and following other bloggers, is that unlike in the magazines, we are real people on real budgets. While I’d love to wear head to toe Gucci as seen on the pages of Vogue, it’s just not realistic for the majority of shoppers including me.
This top was only 15 dollars and it’s still available (see link below). I’ve already worn it at least three different ways as versatility is very important to me when I shop. No matter how much I spend on an item, I always try to make sure I will get good use out of it. After all, it’s not exactly a good deal at any price point if it sits around collecting dust in the closet.
Oh, and another thing I love about blogging, getting to act like a complete goof ball in the middle of the afternoon for absolutely no reason whatsoever! 🙂
We shot these photos near the public garden downtown and Mo and I made friends with these cute little chickens.
Shop my look:
Shein top / Pixie Market skirt (similar here) / Ava & Aiden sandals (similar here and here) / Chanel bag (affordable here and here) / Gucci sunglasses (similar here)

Your tops is so pretty and perfect for summer! I lovvvveee anything striped right now and the ruffle detail is super feminine too. I’m a total goofball too! Hahaha pretty much 24/7. Life is more fun when you embrace your inner goof. 🙂
Hi Lisa! You look so gorgeous my friend! The top has been paired so well with the geometric skirt! You look incredible!
