Happy Wednesday! Did you get a chance to catch the solar eclipse on Monday?
Just a quick post today to share this blue ruffled separates outfit that is probably my favorite look of the Summer. I’ve already worn it multiple times and even styled the separates separately which just makes me love this set even more! The lightweight cotton fabric is simply divine for the Summer heat and humidity we have been experiencing here in Los Angeles. I actually got into a debate with my 13 year old neighbor about who had frizzier hair. We both thought that the humidity caused us more frizz than the other, but to his credit he has been a child model since he was a baby, so he probably knows a thing or two about good hair. Lol.
Also, did you guys see Ingrid Goes West yet? We finally got to see it over the weekend and I’m still thinking about it. The story follows Ingrid, an unstable young woman played by the brilliant Aubrey Plaza, who cashes in her inheritance from her recently deceased mother and makes her way cross country to stalk her favorite lifestyle blogger played by Elizabeth Olsen. Such an intriguing film with incredible performances across the board. Definitely a Summer must see if you’re in the biz or just addicted to Instagram.

Thank you so much Leah! I always pull out a half dozen (or more) bags and shoes to try on as I put my outfits together. My dressing always looks like a disaster after I style a shoot, but it’s worth it for a compliment like this. 🙂
I see tons of ruffles everywhere and I find them so appealing. I bet ruffles will still in style for the next two years. I love it!
