Happy Wednesday! Hope your week is going great so far!
My trip to London and Scotland was originally planned as a vacation, so I was so happy to learn we would be in town for the last few days of London Fashion Week. While I was only able to attend a few events, I must say it was very exciting to share my passion for fashion, with lovers across the globe!
An overcast day for the Malone Souliers presentation which was held outdoors in Soho Square Gardens.
The man of the hour, Malone Souliers, co-founder/creator Roy Luwolt.
I need these!
Waiting for the Sid Neigum show to begin!
Neigum’s post modern garments are both experimental and wearable.
A cross between edgy street style and a visit inside The Matrix.
After the show I went to check out the LFW Designer Showrooms.
The entrance was filled with London Fashion Week’s sponsors including Maybelline, Sunglass Hut and Toni & Guy.
I wandered a little further through the crowd and made my way through the endless displays the designers had to offer. Separated only by a makeshift wall here and there, the displays seemed to go on forever… each one more incredible than the next. A fashion lover’s dream of undiscovered treasures!
Designed by David Collins Studio, the Designer Showrooms is home to over 150 designers, showcasing a rich and diverse selection of ready-to-wear, footwear, bags and accessories.
Of the four fashion capitals, London is the only city that hosts the Designer Showrooms in the same space as its official show space, putting a spotlight on this broader group of designers. The showrooms have launched many global brands and feature works from Egypt, Taiwan, London and everywhere in between.
I had the pleasure to meet and chat with a few of the very young, emerging designers at the market. I especially loved the whimsical offerings of BPB and the gorgeous shoes by Porthia.
I rushed through the sea of shoes, dresses, bags and hats, to meet my dinner date who was waiting patiently outside.
Until next time London Fashion Week! Thank you so much for stopping by and please stay tuned for more of my London and Scotland adventures.
xoxo,
Lisa
