A few weeks ago I partnered up with my realtors @carvelfrasier to host a Beach Party for Walk with Sally. If you’ve never heard of this incredible non-profit charity, allow me to share. Walk with Sally provides free individualized mentoring and community support services to empower children whose parent, guardian or sibling has succumbed to cancer. The organization provides hope to countless traumatized children by pairing them one on one with qualified adults who spend time with their mentees for a minimum commitment of one year. We decked our house from head to toe beach themed décor to celebrate Walk with Sally’s upcoming fundraiser “White Light White Night” event this Saturday evening, July 28th. Every party needs a a photo booth, am I right? We set up an ocean front back drop, complete with beach chairs and blankets and all the fun photo props we could find. My two gorgeous co-hosts Cindy and Misty really embraced the theme with their adorable dresses and accessories.
We set up stations around the house to display information on Walk with Sally and our additional sponsors Kendra Scott and happyluxe.
And of course if you’ve been to (or seen photos of) any of my previous events, you already know the décor is never complete without a candy buffet. This time, I swapped out the apothecary jars for sand pails filled with cascading candy in an effort to embrace the beachy theme.
The party congregated at our basement bar to sip on Misty and Cindy’s mouthwatering Sangria.
We thought the movie Beach Party with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello would be an appropriate choice for our home theatre.
Our guests shoveled candy and popcorn in mini beach ball shaped bags before the movie.
Our sponsor happyluxe makes luxurious travel wraps, pillows and sleep masks for both adults and kids.
And what better way to display these gorgeous Kendra Scott earrings and necklaces? The perfect accessories to go with the all white dress code for the White Light White Night party this Saturday night. Tickets are still available and Belinda Carlisle is the musical guest.
