Happy Labor Day, friends! I hope you’re enjoying a relaxing long weekend with your loved ones. After a whirlwind few months, I’m finally sharing this gorgeous Mrs. Alice Palm Print Tablescape that I styled back in the Spring—and it’s too pretty not to post as end of Summer entertaining inspiration.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you may remember my first Mrs. Alice tablescape last Christmas. I’ve been completely obsessed with her whimsical yet elevated entertaining pieces ever since. Mrs. Alice brings a touch of fantasy and elegance to every meal, and this summer dining room setup is one of my favorites yet.
The Tablescape Details
For this design, I chose the La Palmeraie Palm Print Tablecloth, the Blue Parrot Candle Holders (both large and small), Chinoiserie Bud Vases and the linen Palm Tree Napkins. These signature Mrs. Alice pieces set the tone for a playful yet sophisticated Chinoiserie-inspired table setting.
To complement them, I mixed in a few affordable finds:
-
Chinoiserie mini pots – fun Amazon treasures that add charm and depth
- Brass Candlesticks from CB2 – elevates the Hollywood Regency theme of the room
-
Waterfall wine glasses from Anthropologie – I love how the pink ombré glass adds a romantic glow
For the place settings, I used our Christofle Malmaison Platinum dinner plates and Christofle Albi flatware—classic pieces from our wedding registry that remain timeless staples in Christofle’s core collection.
Finally, I arranged fresh flowers in a blue-and-white Chinoiserie pitcher we picked up in London years ago. The DIY floral centerpiece ties the whole table together with vibrant pops of color.
Styling Touches
-
Mr. Cupcake looks especially dapper in his floral bow tie from The Foggy Dog—he’s always ready to paw-ty.
-
My own blue-and-white dress (may or may not) unintentionally accessorize the room 🙂 —proof that personal style and home design really do go hand in hand!
Entertaining Inspiration
Whether you’re hosting a festive Labor Day dinner, a casual end-of-summer party, or simply want to refresh your dining room décor, this Mrs. Alice Palm Print tablescape is versatile enough to carry you from summer into fall.

This table setting is so polished, it makes my IKEA spreads look like a toddlers art project! 😂 The Hollywood Regency vibe is strong, but honestly, Im Team Mr. Cupcake in the floral bow tie – such dapper chaos! And isnt it adorable how the authors dress accidentally coordinates? Proof that even if your style isnt *perfect*, its still pretty great! Plus, the call to action is adorable – hope everyone shares because I need inspiration beyond my questionable napkin folding skills. xoxo!
