Happy Friday! If you’ve been following along on the blog for awhile you probably already know how much I love to celebrate Galentine’s Day! After last years party, I wanted to do something even more decadent, so I decided to invite a few of my girls over for a Marie Antoinette themed Galentine’s Day Fête.
Inspired by the Sofia Coppola movie and this stunning pink striped dress, I set about bringing this uber feminine themed party to life.
Viktor Benes bakery in Manhattan Beach created the most gorgeous cakes and macarons for our celebration. I pulled up my Pinterest mood board for bakers Juan and Brenda and together we came up with the perfect assortment of sweet delights. Viktor Benes is the official bakery of Gelson’s Markets and they have 15 locations throughout the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas. This was my family’s go to bakery growing up and I’m so happy this newest location just opened up right in my own neighborhood.
When hosting a celebration fit for a queen, proper tableware is a must. These new cake stands are from Amara, which is one of my go to shops for gorgeous and unique home décor and dining pieces. Amara is also one of my favorite places to shop for unique gifting ideas… especially when you’re shopping for the person who already has everything!
And of course it wouldn’t be Galentine’s Day without candy and Rosé . We sipped Casa Luigi to our hearts content…
And I ate way too much of this incredible gluten-free chocolate banana chip cake. In the words of Marie Antoinette herself, “let them eat cake!”
Put together a great playlist of your favorite girl singers and bands. Or you can just blast the soundtrack from the Marie Antoinette film.

Cake displayed on beautiful trays, candy, Rosé , the perfect playlist and fresh flowers… just add your favorite gals in pretty dresses and your Marie Antoinette themed Galentine’s Day Fête is ready to rock! No boys allowed, except the cute little pup Cledus, you might have noticed looking adorable in every photo. 🙂
This is how the real housewives of Versailles celebrate Galentine’s Day!
