Guest Bedroom Ideas
If you’ve been following me for awhile, you probably already know that I just moved to a new house in Dallas. Well, new “old” house that is… we’re about to start some major and minor renovations throughout the house. Our guest bedroom is first on the list, as we already have family coming to stay at the end of June. Since we’re planning on hosting many guests in our new home, I want our guest suite to feel like a restful vacation haven for our friends and family. Mister Pretty Little Shopper and I both fell in love with this coastal blue and white striped wallpaper for the bedroom and this Seahaven Toile print for the adjoining bathroom. I’m also loving this print to line the interior of the guest bedroom closet.
One thing I absolutely love about shopping the Serena & Lily site is not only do they have numerous complimentary wallpaper and fabric options, but you can actually virtually custom upholster most of their furniture pieces with dozens of fabric choices right on their site! I am planning to use the Seahaven Toile print fabric for our guest bedroom blinds, bedding and armchair, to tie in the theme from our guest bathroom. I’m also loving the contrasting coastal blue patterns of this rug and this stool to continue with the restful seaside theme throughout the guest suite.
We purchased this white bed on another one of my favorite home sites One Kings Lane. There were so many gorgeous and affordable bed options on the site, that it was really hard to narrow down which one was my favorite. We ended up with the Morgan bed because it’s such a classic and timeless style that wouldn’t overwhelm the room. The overall design theme I am going for with our new home is Traditional meets Hollywood Regency, so I am really loving some of the lighting options on One Kings Lane to tie in a bold pop of glam.
