Pumpkin season is here and I have this Collagen and Adaptogen Pumpkin Spice Latte Smoothie on heavy rotation! I’ve been making it almost daily after my workouts and it’s such a refreshing late morning or afternoon pick me up.

Collagen + Adaptogen Pumpkin Spice Latte Smoothie

An absolute must for me when I’m creating a smoothie recipe is that it be easy and quick to make! I am absolutely loving this Vital Proteins Collagen Coffee mix as my key ingredient… other than the pumpkin and pumpkin spice that is. 🙂 The Vital Proteins Collagen Coffee mix not only checks off the “latte” box, but also contains both collagen and adaptogens. I’ve talked a lot about adaptogens previously on the blog here, here and here, and I’m loving this mix as it contains Maca Root, Cordyceps, Chaga and Lion’s Mane. This mix of adaptogens not only boosts mood and improves focus, but it also naturally energizing and boosts your immune system. And it’s just an all around feel good smoothie to give you all the feels for pumpkin season!

You will need:

1/2 Frozen Banana (sliced)
5 Ice Cubes
1 to 2 tsps. Maple Syrup
1/2 Tsp. Pumpkin Spice
1/2 Cup Almond Milk (I use this one)
*Use organic ingredients where possible

Method:

Place all ingredients in a blender and combine thoroughly until combined. Enjoy immediately!

I’ve been roasting whole Sugar Pie Pumpkins ahead of time and store the pumpkin flesh in the refrigerator or freezer until I’m ready to use it. You can find an easy tutorial on how to roast and store your pumpkin here. Mr. Cupcake is also loving eating the fresh pumpkin with his boiled chicken at night. He’s quite the little foodie.
